Written in the stars on high
A dream inside my mind
The one I've looked for for so long
Was not that hard to find
Your voice elates me, brings me joy
Like no one has before
Feel like I'm locked inside a cage
But you're behind the door
They tell me it will never work
You're just not into me
But I disregard their doubts
I know we're meant to be
Just wish you'd see the inner light
Hidden by my disguise
When you enter the room, you're blind
And seeing through closed eyes
These thoughts that race around my head
Have been repressed, denied
Until I can confess to you

At night I fell a hole in me
Void as the sky above
